Portland, Oregon-based Blind Pilot is scheduled to appear on NPR's "Morning Edition," with Ari Shapiro hosting, on Tuesday, April 7th. The segment featuring Blind Pilot is scheduled to air at 6:50 and 8:50 AM EST and 7:50 and 9:50 AM CST. Shortly after the broadcast, the segment will be permanently hosted at http://www.npr.org/programs/morning.
Blind Pilot, comprised of Israel Nebeker (vocals, guitar), Ryan Dobrowski (drums), Luke Ydstie (upright bass, backing vocals), Kati Claborn (banjo, dulcimer, backing vocals), Ian Krist (vibraphones), and Dave Jorgensen (keyboards, trumpet), are in the middle of their first-ever US tour. They will be following this tour up with another national tour, supporting The Decemberists. They are touring in support of their debut full-length, "3 Rounds and a Sound" (Expunged Records).
